Cpl UK Healthcare are recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join a leading provider of care and education services for young people. This role involves promoting the rights of young individuals, providing high-quality care, and fostering a safe, supportive, and homely environment. You will help young people reach their full potential, both individually and as part of a team, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day support to young people, ensuring their well-being and development.
Build trusting relationships, promote positive behaviour, and encourage healthy lifestyles.
Assist with educational and vocational progress and help young people build positive social networks.
Participate in group activities, meals preparation, and assist with young people’s transition out of care.
Maintain accurate records and report on young people’s progress and incidents.
Collaborate with staff, families, social workers, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
Follow safeguarding protocols and report concerns promptly.
Adhere to company policies, health & safety guidelines, and participate in ongoing training.
Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive professional relationships.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting young people's welfare.
Willingness to undergo training and work towards a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
