Job Summary
Cpl are delighted to be working in partnership with a prestigious client, who's mission is to help provide support and care to vulnerable young people and to help them prepare for their future to live positively and independently.
Your role will be to support and manage the staff team to enable them to meet the needs of the children and young people. To undertake direct work with children and young people as appropriate. To ensure each shift is planned and resources allocated. To work in partnership with other professionals to achieve optimum outcomes for young people. To offer supervision and support to staff in line with Quality Standards and as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager.
In addition to this, the ideal candidate will have (but will not be limited to):
Undertaking direct work with young people and acting as an appropriate role model
Maintaining accurate written records both to record information and enable regular monitoring and evaluation to take place

Requirements
- Previous experience working within a children's home is essential
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent
- Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping
- Experience working with children is desirable
- You must have a valid Right to Work in the UK - Sponsorship is not offered
- Having experience with EBD, mental health issues and learning disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact with diverse individuals
- Knowledge of care plans and their implementation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
