Sales Manager

Travel required: Internationally, approximately 50%
Position outline:
A hybrid line management and hands-on Sales opportunity based with a globally leading organisation in the scintillation space who are currently looking to appoint an experienced professional to drive their sales activities and manage the existing sales team.
Responsibilities to include:
- Developing & implementing a sales strategy – analysing market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders – attending industry events where required to further promote products and increase brand visibility.
- Line managing the Sales team – through mentoring and implementing clear targets to ensure high performance.
- Monitoring and achieving revenue targets – through working with existing customers but also pursuing new business opportunities.
Your experience should include:
- A Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Physics, or another relevant subject. An MBA is desirable.
- Technical sales experience with similar technology and in similar applications (Medical, Security, Industrial etc).
- Proven line management and leadership skills.
- Distributor channel management and development – to ideally include experience of export control.
