We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead a Residential Children’s Care setting during an exciting period of growth and expansion. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily management of the residential children’s care home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding requirements, striving for excellence in all areas.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of care professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
- Ensure care plans are person-centred and meet the individual needs of children and young people.
- Manage budgets, rotas, and resources effectively to support the smooth running of the home.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including families, local authorities, and other professionals.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar leadership role within children’s residential care.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards, inspections, and safeguarding practices.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification (essential).
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
