About the Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee a children’s residential home in Solihull supporting young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong background in children’s services and autism-specific care, looking to lead and inspire a team in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the children’s residential home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practices.
Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the needs of children with autism, ensuring their safety, growth, and well-being.
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of care staff, promoting a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies, ensuring collaborative care approaches.
Maintain high standards of safeguarding, ensuring the home provides a safe, therapeutic environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential care setting.
Expertise in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including developing person-centered care approaches.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and relevant childcare legislation.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards).
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
