About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Home Manager to join a supportive and caring team at a children’s residential home in the Crawley area. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people.
The Role:
As Deputy Home Manager, you will:
- Be part of a team providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children and young people.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with relevant standards and legislation.
- Lead and mentor staff, creating a positive and supportive team environment.
- Develop and maintain care plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Ensure the home operates within budgets and manage staff rotas effectively.
- Act as a positive role model for colleagues and young people, helping to foster recovery, growth, and long-term change.
What We’re Looking For:
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and motivated individual with strong leadership skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins, as part of the rota.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Workforce or equivalent.
- At least two years’ experience in a residential children’s home in a senior, team leader, or deputy role.
