Consultant – CAMHS Psychiatrist

CPL UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for a CAMHS Consultant, NHS based in West London area.

Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to work in West London CAMH Service, specializing in neurodevelopmental disorders. This service has successfully transformed into specialist subteams for the last year. The post holder will have the responsibility of managing young people within the Neurodevelopmental Disorders Subteam. You will be supported to use your skills and expertise to the full, working as an integral part of a multi disciplinary care team (MDT) consisting of nursing staff, clinical psychologists, systemic family psychotherapists, child psychotherapists, administrative staff and other Consultant Psychiatry colleagues. The clinic has up to 4 psychiatric trainees at a time, and regular medical school placements from the local Medical School. The primary role will be to provide direct clinical input to young people and families, especially those whose mental health needs are particularly complex and to support the other members of the MDT in relation to clinical management of complex cases.

Requirements:

• Full GMC License to practice

• Right to Work in the UK

• Relevant previous experience working in this type of position

• Section 12/RC approval is essential
