Job Title: Children's Home Deputy Manager
Location: Bly House, Burton-upon-Trent
Salary: £36,000 to £38,000 per annum (depending on level of diploma held)
Hours: Full-time, Permanent
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of high-quality therapeutic care within a children's residential setting.
- Oversee the well-being, security, and development of children through structured, short-term placements.
- Ensure children are supported in a nurturing and peaceful environment, offering stability over 12 weeks.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the team of support workers, fostering a collaborative, positive work environment.
- Facilitate young people’s access to education and an outdoor adventure programme to support personal growth and well-being.

Essential Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential care home within the last 5 years.
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role in a care setting.
- A Level 3 Diploma (or equivalent) in Residential Childcare (England) or similar qualification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations, relevant legislation, and Quality Standards.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
- The right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
- Applicants must be over the age of 21 to meet industry regulations.
- A keen interest in the outdoors is required; activities experience/qualifications are a plus.
