Business Development Manager – International
Reigate
Travel requirements: Approximately 6 trips per year across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the US.
Our Commercial team have a new and highly exciting opportunity available for an experienced B2B Sales or Business Development professional who has worked within the Life Sciences industry.
This organisation manufactures a unique rapid validation tool which is used in various sectors inclusive of pharmaceutical companies, CDMOs/CMOs, Engineering facilities, Research Organisations, Universities, OEMs and others.
The International Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue and further business growth through identifying and generating new business relationships, as well as managing existing accounts.
Other key responsibilities will also include:
• Using the organisation’s CRM system to manage customer and sales pipelines.
• Working closely with the senior leadership team to update on sales forecasting, new business wins and any potential challenges encountered.
• Attending relevant conferences and exhibitions to further drive business growth and customer relationships.
Applicants must be driven and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, as well as the following attributes:
• At least 4 years of B2B Technical Sales or Business Development experience.
• Experience of working on an international level – any experience of working with the US market is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – additional European languages will also be advantageous.
• A University degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant Scientific/Life Sciences subject.
