Drew Jones

Drew is a dynamic and accomplished leader with a keen focus on leading and motivating his team to success. With an impressive career in professional staffing spanning 14 years, he began his journey on a finance temp desk. Since 2013, Drew has honed his expertise in the life sciences industry, gradually expanding his scope from leading finance and accountancy teams to working with HR, IT, Legal, Supply Chain, and Procurement divisions.

Since joining the Cpl team in 2017, Drew has played a pivotal role in growing the Professional Services division from a small team of two to a workforce of 16 across three specialist teams. He has developed several significant FTSE 100 accounts into high-volume users and has a firm belief in building strong partnerships with clients. Drew's unwavering determination has led him to place C-Suite level candidates within some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical businesses. While Drew has achieved much personal success during his career, he’s most proud of the work he does behind the scenes, supporting his team to succeed, particularly when they make their first placement.    

Outside of work, he cherishes spending quality time with his family and their lively terrier, Percy. As a devoted Tottenham fan, Drew has mastered the art of dealing with disappointment, rejection and takes office banter with good humour! In life, Drew follows the simple philosophy and wise words of Jedi Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, ‘In my experience there is no such thing as luck.’ His common-sense approach, empathetic nature, and commitment to delivering exceptional service—as well as the ability to write cracking Boolean!—make Drew a valued member of the Cpl team.
