Alice Brereton-Halls

Alice has been a valuable asset to Cpl UK since 2017. She manages the internal legal, compliance, and HR teams and is a graduate member of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).

Alice and her team use their specialist expertise and knowledge to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards that align with legislation and industry best practices across multiple Cpl business areas. With a keen eye for risk management, Alice proactively identifies potential risks to the business and devises strategies to prevent and mitigate problems before they arise. Her forward-thinking approach has proven instrumental in safeguarding the company’s interests and maintaining a compliant operational environment.

Alice’s responsibilities encompass various aspects of the business, including enforcing compliance and providing guidance on HR, employment, and compliance matters. She maintains a comprehensive oversight of all contracts for Cpl UK, ensuring that any queries, disputes, or issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.

Besides her legal and compliance responsibilities, Alice serves as the Data Champion for Cpl UK, playing a crucial role in safeguarding sensitive information and maintaining the trust of clients and stakeholders. She works closely with the Cpl Data Protection Team and Data Protection Officer, to ensure strict compliance with the requirements of Data Protection legislation, supporting Cpl’s strong commitment to data privacy.
